Day 1 - Discovery of lakes and rivers

 

• Departure from Manaus at 8:00 a.m.

• Meeting of the waters (Rio Solimões and Rio Negro) where the Amazon River has its source

• Visit to a small fishing community in Careiro da Várzea

• Arrival at the hotel

• Lunch

• Piranha fishing

• Exploration of lakes and islands

• Swimming

• Observation of pink and gray dolphins

• Dinner

• Observation of alligators

 

Day 2 - Observation of fauna and flora

 

• Sunrise

• Observation of exotic birds

• Walk in the forest of the Urubu region: discovery of plants, insects and mammals

• Lunch

• Departure for the camp in the forest: wood fire, barbecue and caipirinhas

• Local stories and tales

 

Day 3 - Discovering macaques and jaguars

 

• Navigation on the river to the Maquiné region.

• Camp in a reserve

• Learning survival techniques: making a fire, climbing trees…

• Development of the ecological camp in which you will sleep

 

Day 4 - Deep jungle

 

• Exploring the deep forest - hiking for several hours depending on the physical condition of the people

• Observing fauna and flora

• Night canoe trip to enjoy the nightlife

 

Day 5 - Discovering the indigenous communities of the Amazon

 

• Observing local customs

• Discovering the daily activities of the indigenous people

• Return to the hotel

• Departure for Manaus - Arrival expected around 5 p.m.
